Below is information for the CORCORAN
safety training class session.
ALL MINNESOTANS BORN AFTER DEC. 31, 1976, MUST HAVE A SAFETY
CERTIFICATE TO OPERATE A SNOWMOBILE IN THE STATE!
If
you have a driver’s license this certification will be indicated on
your license. Nonresidents certified in snowmobile safety training in
another state or Canada will be recognized in Minnesota.

Classroom
Thursday, November 29, 2007; 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Tuesday, December 4, 2007; 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Thursday, December 6, 2007; 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Outdoor
Practical
Saturday, Dec. 8, 2007; 8:00am - 12:00pm
Times
for outdoor practical exam will be assigned during class on December 6.
Students will be given a one-hour time slot between 8:00am and 12:00pm
for the practical exam.
Location
Classroom
Classroom courses are instructed at the Corcoran Civic Center
located at 8200 Cty Rd 116 (on Cty 116 between Cty 10 and Cty 30)
Location
Practical (over the snow)
Over the snow test will be at Rogers
Community Center located at 21202 Memorial Dr (just off Main Street
by the RR tracks in Rogers). This is different than last
year. Practical exam happens regardless of snow conditions.

Age
Requirement
Students must be 11 years old by November 29, 2007 in order to
enroll in the course (no exceptions per law).
Registration
There are 75 seats open for this course. Applications are taken
until all seats are filled; we typically receive 100+ applications so
register early to guarantee a seat.

- Your
fee must accompany the registration form in order to be considered
registered.
- You
must also enclose a legal sized (#10) self-addressed stamped
envelope for the return of your certificate upon completion of the
course.
- We
do not confirm your registration; we will only notify you if the course
is filled and your fee will be returned.
